So, you’ve been too busy to make your resolutions for 2018. We understand. That’s why Barr Corporate Success, the best Executive Coach in Cincinnati, made it easy. Just print out this list, stick it on your refrigerator and ponder it every time you open the door.
My (Belated) 2018 New Year’s Resolutions
Exercise more & eat less
This time I really mean it. Here’s my plan: exercise every day. That means the gym some days and walking as much as possible on the others. I’m also going to eat better, like salads at lunch, less at dinner and fewer desserts. None of this sounds good. But it will be worth it.
Kick my bad habits
Since this list is on my refrigerator where everyone can see it, I’m not going to list them all here. We know what they are. And I’m going to stop them. Mostly because they are, well, bad habits, not good ones.
Make significant progress on the most important things
Decide what matters most, develop a plan to get there and then do it. A list of New Year’s Resolutions, while good, is not a substitute for a real strategic plan with pull through implementation.
Spend more quality time with the ones I love
The trick here is to be more focused, so I get work done during business hours. Block out time on my calendar for friends and family. Don’t let anything get in the way.
Learn new tricks
This year I will (circle all that apply): learn a new language, play a new musical instrument, take cooking classes, try a new sport, learn a new hobby, enroll in a class.
Experience different things
This year I am going to (circle all that apply): read more (start with The Fido Factor), take a dream vacation, go to that concert, sleep under the stars.
Become the best me I can be
Love more, laugh more, pray more, help more and do the hard things first.
Call Barr Corporate Success
This year I’m going to call Krissi Barr, the best Executive Coach in Cincinnati. I’m going to find out how she and her consulting team can help me with executive coaching, strategic planning, assessments, training and even deliver an amazing keynote speech at our next big meeting. Yep, this is going to be my best year ever!
